In an effort to meet my deadline on my new home being built I called Hetter and had a new Trane heating/cooling heat pump system installed. He returned Monday with Danny to install my new Trane A/C. I found both to be very courteous and extremely focused on the details of their work. I could cite several instances where I noticed "quality traits" that I don't see just anywhere. From Danny excusing himself to go back outside to move the old unit to the truck and pre-place the new unit because he was concerned about killing the grass if the units sat too long while they worked inside, to Chuck's meticulous manner in sealing around the furnace when the job was done so it would look good, this team was simply excellent.

Today's experience is a good example.... I called Hetter early this morning to request a service call due to not having hot water. I was cordially greeted by the woman answering the phone, was easily able to set an appointment for TODAY (!) and the service technician was at my house by around 11:00 a.m already!! AND I got a courtesy call prior to the technician's arrival -- as was promised.
The technician that came to the house today was Chuck (or Charles). He has been here previously and I appreciate the continuity of having the same service man come to the house -- especially one as great as Chuck is!! Chuck is always very professional and courteous. He's extremely patient with me as a homeowner who knows NOTHING about hot water heaters!! He listens well to my questions and takes time to answer them ALL. He appears to be very knowledgeable also -- he's able to easily answer my questions.
Today I was exceptionally impressed with Chuck because he picked up on a "subtlety" in wording on one of my previous service agreement visits, called into the office, spoke with his boss and came back into the house to inform me that there was no charge for the visit today!!!! WOW -- how many times is a customer going to hear THAT from a business??!! I was particularly touched because I felt Chuck was extremely perceptive to even pick up on the "possible issue" and he cared enough to follow through on it. He went the "extra mile" to offer me not only great service BUT honest service!

As I mentioned to you on the phone, they went well beyond what I would have expected from someone installing equipment. Once my decision was made to have Hetter take the job, the installation was started within days. Adam & Walt were the technicians. They were pleasant, professional and it was obvious that they not only liked their job, but were very good at it. I felt like they did their work in my home in the same way they would have done it in their own homes. "I am sending this e-mail to Hetter Heating to let you know that I was once again impressed with the way the company conducts business. The technician that came to our house today was Chuck. Chuck was very professional and courteous. He conducted a fall check up on my furnace. He cleaned the flame sensor and burners, checked the manifold gas pressure, checked the amps on the inducer motor, checked the blower motor amps, and made sure the Aprilaire humidifier was working properly. He even answered a few of my questions on my dual gas water heating tanks. I cannot compliment Chuck and Hetter Heating enough!
