Heating, cooling and beyond
You may not know this, but Hetter Heating & Cooling has been installing mini split heat pump systems for almost a decade now. We love the unit, says Hetter customer Jim from Plain City. Its doing just exactly what we had hoped it would do. It does a great job. Jim actually installed a wall-mounted unit in his kitchen for supplemental heating & cooling. Mini splits are high efficient ductless electric systems that can heat & cool a small space such as a sun room at a reasonable price. In the U.S., mini splits are expected to grow to a $1.2 billion market by 2015. In Europe over 80% of their heating & cooling is performed by these high efficient mini split systems. In Japan its over 90%. Some project the U.S. market to reach $25 billion in sales. Industry giants like Trane jumped into the mini split market last fall. Hetter is a Blue Diamond Mitsubishi dealer and installs Trane as well. The indoor unit mounts on an outside wall, is whisper quiet and is controlled by a remote hand held thermostat.
