Heating, cooling and beyond
Hetter Heating & Cooling was founded by a US Army veteran - our dad George Hetterscheidt. He served in combat in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. We contribute to the VA to honor him & all veterans who have served. One easy way to honor veterans is to fly an American flag. There are nineteen days through out the year where the flag should be flown including most major holidays. In the fall, the most important day is Veterans Day (Nov 11); however other great days are Patriot Day (Sep 11), Navy Day (Oct 27), Thanksgiving & Christmas day. Other great ways to honor a veteran: attend a local Veteran's Day parade, visit a veteran in the hospital, contribute to the Wounded Warrior Project. To date, Hetter has contributed over $25,000 to the VA to help augment living expenses for veterans transitioning back into everyday life.
