Bosch Corporation has positioned itself quite well for consumers who want to take advantage of the federal tax credits now available on HVAC equipment - most notably hybrid systems and all electric heat pump systems. Bosch has full system hybrid options in all sizes that qualify; all electric heat pump options that qualify; and even a couple of heat pump & coil options that qualify as well. Bosch is a $98 billion privately held global HVAC manufacturer based in Stutgart, Germany. The systems that qualify for the $2000 federal tax credit (part of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act), are ducted inverter split systems that, according to Bosch, "are able to self-adjust, providing consistent room temperature, even when the temperature outdoors dips below freezing." These modulating heat pumps "provide supremely efficient comfort by adjusting compressor capacity rather than a simple on/off control."
